Winter 2015 Updates

Hello 2015!

I have finally settled down after a long run of residencies and travel.

The adventure started with my second residency at the Vermont Studio Center. I am thrilled to have been invited back, the chance to work with 50 artists and writers was too great to pass up! While in Vermont, I worked on my series Frolic Architecture and Masonic Temples. Both series are now on my site, please check them out! I also had the opportunity to collaborate with fellow residents, including performance artist Katie Hovencamp. Some of the performances we collaborated on will be in her upcoming solo exhibition called "Orna-Mental State" at HERE Arts Center in New York City. The exhibition will be up from June 25th-August 15th, 2015.

I also spent a week in the Highlands, NC with the Flash Powder Projects. Three photographers and I were led by Jennifer Schwartz and David Bram through what I am going to call a condensed masters in fine art photographic practices. We spent the week critiquing, sequencing, and writing statements. All while nestled in the mountains of North Carolina. This trip inspired Sara Macel and me to form a Crusade for Art: Brooklyn Chapter. More details on that venture to come!

Finally, I have officially rebranded and updated my website
www.lizarenberg.com. Let me know what you think!

Stay warm out there!

Summer-Fall 2014 Updates

This summer has been filled with many emotional and professional milestones. I had the good fortune to be chosen as one of 100 photographers to participate in the Center's Review Santa Fe. The Review Santa Fe spans over 4 days in Santa Fe, New Mexico where a selection of the photography community reviews work and sips wine under the desert stars.  Also, I am in the photolucida Critical Mass Top 200 with many friends, I recommend taking a peek at the listing to check out some talented artists.
